In July 2020 an International Film Actress, playing the Lead in a new Pinewood Studios production, quarantined at St. Swithins Cottage.

The Production Team had to comply with strict Health & Safety legislation as laid down by their insurers and so an in-depth Risk Assessment had to be performed on the accommodation.

The actress wanted an "Escape to the Countryside" experience rather than being , effectively, imprisoned in a London hotel so privacy, safety and seclusion were essential.

St. Swithins Cottage was the answer.

FILM SET

In October 2021 St. Swithins Cottage was used by a Mumbai Production Company as a Film Set for a future Bollywood Movie.

The extensive crew and cast utilised all areas around the house and gardens including the surrounding land to accommodate their numerous needs from early mornings through to very late nights.

Garage: became the costume department and overnight equipment storage.
Office: became the editing studio for both sound & vision.
Deck: became the communal area for lunches, diners and general tea & coffee.
Parking was easily facilitates for at the house with overflow capacity down around barn / paddock.
Power was supplied throughout the gardens with numerous electrical outlets already in situ and no fuses were tripped!
